Inspirational Fashion Friday: International Elegance

After seeing a few pieces of Pankaj Ahuja at Anthropologie, I had to do some research to see what else his label entailed. It made sense why he caught my eye after learning he had began his career with Rohit Bal, the king of sophisticated cuts and flowing fabrics. This elegant style followed through effortlessly in Pankaj Ahuja’s designs.

I also found this amazing fashion photographer, Anushka Menon. She may have started young, but her career has flourished quite quickly, working with some of India’s leading designers and top-notch celebrities. Her photography is simply stunning! I’ve heard amazing things about Sapna Bhavnani, the celebrity hairstylist for Bollywood. This wild child seriously exudes an electrifying energy that is completely infectious. She’s cool, crazy, and knows how to to rock it!  This photo will go down as one of my favorites, taken by the talented Tina Dehal.

Inspirational Fashion Friday: Sachin & Babi for ANKASA

So there exists Ank, a luxury textile company and then there’s Ankasa, a home lifestyle brand, and now this ultimate designer couple, Sachin and Babi launched a ready-to-wear clothing line called Sachin and Babi for Ankasa.  The clothing line is actually two years in the making, but fashion has been always been part of Sachin’s roots, as he grew up around fashion boutiques which his mother owned in India.
