Indian Fashion Fiesta In Argentina
April 7, 2010This week, we showed you a little piece of India that had set foot in Paris years back. And now India’s inspiration has made it way to South America.
Buenos Aires held it’s Alta Moda Fashion Week and for the first-time ever, two Indian designers, Anita Dongre and Nachiket Barve were invited to participate. This collaboration was organized by the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC). AEPC states, “The objective for holding the Fashion Show in Argentina, is to showcase the capability and strength of the Indian Textile Clothing industry among our target buyers in Argentina.”

Indian Paris
April 6, 2010I highly enjoyed this video. When I think of PARIS, bistros, fine wine, and playing dress up comes to mind. However, lets try mixing in bollywood, tandoori, and threading? Yes, these are all possible in the city known for its best cuisine, trend-setting fashion and historic antiques.
Passage Brady is a market-type street in Paris that houses Indian grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Check this out!
