The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur Closing Soon!

A friend told me about the Garden and Cosmos: The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur exhibition, which she LOVED. According to the her, give yourself a good three hours. The paintings are supposedly exquisite, painted in microscopic detail (consider bringing your own magnifiying glass, though the museum will have some to lend). It is a feast for the eyes. Produced for the Rajasthan nobles, the painting are from the 17th-19th century.
SAAM is one of just four museums worldwide to show these 58 treasures before they return to the current maharaja’s cabinet, where they were only recently discovered. The other three are Indian-art powerhouses: the Smithsonian’s Sackler Gallery, the British Museum, and the National Museum in Delhi.
Because it’s the closing weekend, SAAM is open till 7pm!
