Her designs are inspired by vintage fabrics from India. The collection includes placemats, glassware, and trays. Simrin uses a unique medium, combining metallic inks, embroidery and hand screen printing. I love mixing old with the new and these laminated fabric trays from the Raja collection fit the style perfectly.

Many serious artists and studios are creating beautiful contemporary designs, and new technologies are making them go on easier to adhere better. These day, I see the trend for ultra bold colors and strong patterns combined with light accessories. Also seeing lots of papers with metallic inks and Victorian-inspired patterns but with more contemporary color schemes.
