A Classic Bollywood Beauty
April 29, 2009Mehr Jessia epitomizes classiness in this photo shoot with Harper’s Bazaar. These images showcase the serenity and calmness in her life. Post marriage she’s kept a low profile from the bollywood buzz. Each outfit is inspirational. The creamy grayscale effect makes it so elegant.

The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur Closing Soon!
April 24, 2009

A friend told me about the Garden and Cosmos: The Royal Paintings of Jodhpur exhibition, which she LOVED. According to the her, give yourself a good three hours. The paintings are supposedly exquisite, painted in microscopic detail (consider bringing your own magnifiying glass, though the museum will have some to lend). It is a feast for the eyes. Produced for the Rajasthan nobles, the painting are from the 17th-19th century.
SAAM is one of just four museums worldwide to show these 58 treasures before they return to the current maharaja’s cabinet, where they were only recently discovered. The other three are Indian-art powerhouses: the Smithsonian’s Sackler Gallery, the British Museum, and the National Museum in Delhi.
Because it’s the closing weekend, SAAM is open till 7pm!
Here are the details…

April 22, 2009love, love, LOVING Ranna Gill’s latest collection. The reason being, they are colorful and wearable. Ranna tends to show something which has a very Indian soul but manages to make it contemporary and universal.

Would You Wear a Belt with a Saree?
April 12, 2009Um….No! Please don’t even try to experiment wearing a belt with a saree. However, I do love the colour and the mandarin collar style halter.
Saree’s are suppose to define the silhouette of your body. The belt loses its elegant look. What are your thoughts?
