Glowing with Pure Bolly Gorgeousity

This Marchesa magenta dress caught my eye because the jewel stone work looks like the top I wore at my own wedding. I’m sure this dress was inspired by Indian influences to say the least. It’s from Marchesa’s Spring 08 RTW collection. Actress Camilla Belle wears the entire ensemble very well including the bangles, heels, and gold clutch. A little indian inspiration goes a long way!

Portico India

Last year, I was fortunate to have visited India and remembered all the beautiful block printing. The colors of the fabrics were so vibrant.
I came across this beautiful site called Portico India. It is a Mumbai-based company that has the most fabulous bohemian-inspired bedding I’ve ever seen! Portico has been a recipient of “The Most Admired Home Fashion Brand” award at Image Fashion Forum (IFF) in January 09. It’s a lovely mix of traditional meets modern, with my personal fave being the Urban Monk collection (pictured below).
